Applications for Cohort 10 of Ministry-funded PLD for structured literacy approaches and Rangaranga Reo -ā-Tā (structured te reo matatini) opened on 2 November 2026.
Applications will close on 4 December 2026.
Priority will be given to teachers and schools who meet the following criteria:
- Schools and kura that have not engaged in SLA or RRāTā PLD, with places prioritised based on greatest need
- Years 7–8 teachers who have not yet accessed SLA or RRāTā PLD, even where their school has previously participated
- Years 0–6 teachers without prior access
Cohort 10 will begin delivery in Term 1, 2027 and run through Terms 2, 3 & 4.
