Registrations for Cohort 9 open on 10 June, providing a final opportunity in 2026 for eligible teachers to access foundational Structured Literacy Approaches PLD.
With more than 21,000 teachers trained since this initiative launched in 2024, we’ve already exceeded our national target.
This final 2026 cohort will prioritise teachers and schools who have not yet had the opportunity to participate in SLA or RRāTā PLD, with places allocated based on greatest need.
From 2027, SLA PLD will shift to a more focused model, with limited places each year. Further details about future cohorts and eligibility will become available here.
