On 1 December 2021, a revised specialisations list went live on the PLD website's facilitator search tool.
These revised specialisations will make it easier for educators to search for the particular skills needed to align their regionally-allocated PLD journeys and the PLD priorities with the learning areas from the New Zealand curricula and the wider educational change programmes such as the NCEA review, Aotearoa New Zealand’s histories and the curricula refresh.
When using the facilitator search tool, you can use the dropdown menu titled ‘Specialisations’ to pick the skills and areas you are looking for in a facilitator. Click the specialisations that you are seeking support in and then click ‘Apply’. This will shortlist facilitators who have those specialisations into your search.
For a detailed search, use a combination of the filters and type in keywords into the search bar.
Future updates to the search tool in January 2022 will include being able to filter for all PLD priorities as enabled currently for Cultural Capability.
Please note as the information contained in this tool has been provided by the facilitators and/or their PLD Providers, this is not a complete update to the search tool as some facilitators may not have provided this information as of 1 December 2021. When the information is provided, their record will be populated with new specialisations. The facilitator search tool is regularly updated to ensure the information is current and useful.
