Schools, kura, Kāhui Ako or clusters with an approved allocation for PLD on the cultural capability priority should choose from the list of approved providers and their approved facilitators for delivery of that PLD. Schools, kura, Kāhui Ako or clusters should also look at the location of these facilitators and select a local facilitator whenever possible.

These PLD providers have identified the PLD facilitators in their organisation who can deliver cultural capability PLD. These approved facilitators will be recorded in the PLD website’s facilitator search tool. There are now over 200 facilitators available to deliver cultural capability PLD across Aotearoa New Zealand.

The newly approved providers and facilitators are in the process of being registered and getting access to the online PLD system and may not yet be available to be chosen as the designated facilitator on a PLD Proposal. If you are a PLD Lead intending to work with one of these organisations, please check with them first if they have access to the online PLD system before going into the online PLD system to choose them. If they have not completed the ESL setup process, they won’t appear in the online PLD system to be chosen to deliver the PLD.

The RFP process and this list of providers for cultural capability PLD give schools, kura, the Ministry, PLD providers and facilitators the assurance that this PLD is inclusive, has appropriate focus on Kaupapa Māori and honours the intent of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
