Evaluation Associates support for beginning principals

Te Akatea First Time Principals’ programme

Evaluation Associates|Te Huinga Kākākura Mātauranga provides three years of professional support to beginning principals and tumuaki in all Ministry of Education regions and across all sectors.

The support and advice are tailored, targeted and timely. It supports beginning principals and tumuaki to reach their potential and create the conditions that allows all learners to thrive and achieve.

The three years of support enables principals and tumuaki to build their confidence and capabilities as leaders of learning and as effective operational managers. Support is delivered through targeted face-to-face and virtual one-to-one meetings with a principal advisor who is an experienced, regionally based and successful ex-principal. In addition to this there are group guided support initiatives provided that are face-to-face and virtual.

There are no costs to schools and kura.
